Andrea Poma Hernando

2020 Inner City Law Center Fellow

Andrea Poma Hernando is a rising 2L at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Before attending law school she worked at the Orange County Public Defender’s office as an honors undergraduate summer intern. There, she drafted motions and memoranda, assisted with client intake, and aided in providing meaningful and effective representation. Andrea’s step grandfather was a Veteran who served in Vietnam, which is why she not only respects Inner City Law Center’s (ICLC) Homeless Veterans Project’s mission and goals, but also understands it’s importance. Andrea hopes to hone her skills in order to aid the ICLC attorneys in their goal of zealously advocating for their clients, especially female veterans who are survivors of sexual assault.
