Commissioner Ashley Price
Law Student Mentoring
Commissioner Ashley Price became a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner in 2021. She currently sits in the Compton Courthouse presiding over dependency cases. She serves on several committees for the Los Angeles Superior Court, including the Executive Committee, the Bail Committee, the Bench and Bar Committee, the Technology Committee, and the Community Outreach Committee. She presides over Teen Court cases at Peninsula High School in Palos Verdes. She also sits on the Board of Governors for the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. Prior to becoming a commissioner, she worked as a trial attorney with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office for sixteen years. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology and Sociology from UCLA, and her Juris Doctorate is from Loyola Law School.
