Jessica Kronstadt

Career Mentoring

Jessica Kronstadt is a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s

office. She is currently assigned to the Sex Crimes Division, where she prosecutes child sexual

abuse matters. In May 2022, the Jewish Free Loan Association (JFLA) honored Jessica as a Wonder Woman at its gala, “Wonder Women: A Gala to Honor Leading Women of Los Angeles.” In March 2022, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) acknowledged her as a Women’s History Month honoree. In July 2021, Jessica was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of its “Top 40 Under 40” lawyers. Jessica received a Distinguished Young Alumna Award from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in April 2019. She served as WLALA’s President from 2020 to 2021.  Jessica was recognized as WLALA’s “Changemaker of the Month” in April 2018. She has been acknowledged by Los Angeles Magazine as a “Rising Star” in public interest. Jessica received her B.A. from Yale University, where she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team. She received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. After graduating from law school, Jessica worked as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins and as a staff attorney at Bet Tzedek Legal Services. Jessica serves as a Trustee on LACBA’s Board of Trustees and as a member of LACBA’s President’s Task Force on Racial and Social Justice. She currently serves on the Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and as a member of ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute. Jessica has served on the Executive Committee of the Criminal Justice Section for LACBA, and as a board member of the California Young Lawyers Association. Jessica is a past Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and a past Executive Committee Member of the Bet Tzedek New Leadership Council. She has run in and successfully completed five marathons and four half-marathons.
