Ms. Lang is entering her second year at Pepperdine University School of Law this fall. During her undergraduate education at UCLA, Ms. Lang developed an interest in combating human trafficking, and has decided to focus on supporting victims of human trafficking that are/have been subjected to sexual exploitation during law school. This summer, Ms. Lang will be working for the Legal Services Program of Willow International in Kampala, Uganda. Willow International is a non-profit organization that supports survivors of sex trafficking. While in Uganda, Ms. Lang will be providing legal consultation to survivors of sex trafficking and collaborating with local authorities to gather the information necessary to charge and prosecute traffickers. Ms. Lang plans to continue after graduation with a career focused on combating human trafficking in the Los Angeles area.
