Nancy Fong

Nancy S. Fong is a Partner at Allen Matkins.  Nancy’s practice focuses on construction litigation, employment, commercial, real estate, and financial services litigation.  Nancy commonly represents contractors, hotel owners, commercial landlords, developers, employers and management in a variety of breach of contract, fraud, tort, construction defect, title disputes, prevailing wage, wrongful termination and discrimination disputes.  She also represents national lenders and servicers in complex consumer finance litigation and defends Fortune 500 employers in class action and employment disputes. Nancy has chaired multiple trials and arbitrations, and has argued before both federal and state courts in trial and post-trial phases.

Nancy has served as a contributing author to Business Torts: A Fifty-State Guide in each annual edition since 2011.  She has also served on her firm’s Recruiting Committee and Diversity Committee. Nancy is also actively involved in the community and runs a local non-profit organization called Kids Reading to Succeed, which provides one-on-one tutoring to underprivileged youth in the Pasadena area. 

Nancy completed her bachelor’s degree and graduated magna cum laude in 1998 from the University of California, Los Angeles, with majors in political science and Asian American studies. She received her J.D. in 2001 from UCLA School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Pacific Basin Law Journal and as a teaching assistant.
