STACY HORTH-NEUBERT is Counsel in Sidley Austin LLP’s Litigation Practice Group. Stacy’s practice covers a range of complex commercial litigation, including multi-district litigation and class actions, federal and state appeals, international arbitration and administrative appeals. She has represented clients in the internet, automotive, travel and leisure, design, fashion and entertainment industries, on state and local regulation, unfair business practices and false advertising, and commercial contract disputes.

Stacy serves as Los Angeles Co-Chair of Sidley’s Pro Bono and Public Interest Law Committee, and maintains an active pro bono practice, having represented clients on cases regarding immigration rights, civil and educational rights, Freedom of Information Act litigation, and federal and state benefits.

Stacy is a Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and has served on the WLALA Board of Governors since 2009. She devotes significant time to additional organizations focused on advancing women, including serving on Sidley’s Committee on Retention and Promotion of Women, serving as Co-Chair of the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) Southern California and Chair of its Young Lawyers Committee, and serving as a longtime member of the Steering Committee of the LACBA-WLALA Joint Task Force on Retention and Promotion of Women. In addition, Stacy serves on the Executive Committee of the ACLU SoCal Foundation. In addition to her other civic engagements, she is past president of the board for a private Los Angeles nonprofit preschool.

Stacy was recognized as one of the 2018 “Most Influential Women Attorneys” by the Los Angeles Business Journal and one of the 2017 “Top Women Lawyers in California” by the Los Angeles Daily Journal. She also was named a winner of the California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year Awards (CLAY) by California Lawyer magazine (2009). Stacy received the ACLU of Southern California Pro Bono Advocacy Award in 2007 and its Freedom of Information Award in 2014 for her pro bono work. Stacy earned her B.S. from the University of Florida (Phi Beta Kappa) and her J.D. from Fordham University (Order of the Coif). She has been married for more than 25 years to architect, Aaron Neubert, and is the mother of their two fabulous teenagers, Quinn and Penn.
