Abigail Ageshen

2026 Harriett Buhai Fellow

I am a first-year law student in Southwestern Law School’s SCALE Two-Year J.D. Program and was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Chapman University, where I also minored in Law, Justice, and Social Control. Family law resonated with me because it sits at the intersection of client-centered advocacy and meaningful human impact, allowing attorneys to help individuals and families navigate transitions with clarity and support. I am passionate about equitable access to justice and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law’s mission of providing legal advocacy to underserved families in Los Angeles through the WLALA Fellowship.
