Desirae Ibarra

Desirae Ibarra is a first-generation college graduate and a 3L law student at Southwestern Law School. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Legal Studies from UC Santa Cruz, Desirae was accepted into Southwestern Law School.

During her time in law school, she has been an active member of the Mass Incarceration Awareness Law Society, Black Law Students Association, and the Public Interest Law Committee. She has also worked as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office.

Desirae’s personal and professional experiences have inspired her to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney in public service, with the goal of ensuring that indigent clients receive adequate representation and the justice they deserve.
