Dulce Stephanie Rodas

2022 RBG Scholarship Recipient

Ms. Rodas is entering her third year at UC Hastings College of Law this fall.  Her family’s immigration experience has solidified her dedication to immigration rights issues.  After graduating from college, Ms. Rodas worked as the pro bono justice coordinator for OneJustice, where she was able to assist with the Justice Bus Project and the IMPACT LA project hosted at the Jenesee Center (a domestic violence intervention center in South LA).  Through such clinics, Ms. Rodas was able to help immigrant women with eligibility screenings for immigration relief and with their naturalization applications, and do significant community outreach.  Ms. Rodas also worked as a project manager for the USC Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic, was a volunteer for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, and a paralegal for the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights.

During law school, Ms. Rodas has volunteered for the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project and was an extern for the National Immigration Law Center.  This summer, Ms. Rodas interned at the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project.
