Melody N. Wilson

Melody N. Wilson is a dedicated law student at LMU Loyola Law School with a passion for using legal advocacy to drive meaningful social change. She has worked extensively with communities affected by systemic injustices, including assisting Black families in reclaiming stolen land and supporting wildfire survivors with insurance claims.

Melody aspires to open transitional homes for individuals struggling with substance abuse, providing refuge, life skills training, and individualized counseling to support long-term recovery. She is committed to implementing trauma-informed solutions that foster stability, safety, and empowerment for those on the path to healing.

Through the ICLC/WALA Fellowship, Melody seeks to deepen her legal expertise in housing and public interest law, equipping her with the tools to advocate for marginalized communities and create sustainable, trauma-responsive solutions.
