Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles is proud to introduce “Pro Bono Conversations,” a series of virtual conversations featuring a non-profit legal services organization. The first webinar in our series will feature the Disability Rights Legal Center (“DRLC”), a 501(C)(3) non-profit, public interest advocacy organization that champions the civil rights of people with disabilities. In this program, you will learn from DRLC Senior Staff Attorney Julie C. Stromberg about the DRLCs’ work and various pro bono, volunteer, and intern opportunities available at the DRLC. You will also hear from Natalie K. Sanders, Litigation Associate with Baker & Botts LLP, regarding her pro bono work with DRLC. Moderated by Desiree Portillo Rabinov, Board of Trustee for Glendale Community College and State Co-Chair for the Trust for Public Land, this program will discuss the importance of pro bono work and review opportunities for successful pro bono partnerships.
