Education and Experience I went to the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate school, and graduated with a BA in liberal arts. I attended law school at UC Berkeley and received my JD there. I practiced civil law for about 1 year after passing the bar. Then I joined the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s and was a Deputy City Prosecutor for 1 year. I have been a Deputy District Attorney with LADA since November 1997 and I am still currently employed with LADA.
