Handles all phases of litigation associated with trademarks, dilution, trade dress, copyrights, trade secrets, patents and unfair competition matters. Experience managing trademark dockets, prosecuting applications to registration and handling opposition, cancellation and concurrent use proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”), registration and enforcement of internet domain names including ICANN arbitrations, procuring, negotiating and drafting intellectual property licenses and strategic counseling in intellectual property including branding strategies, screening, reviewing and advising of risk associated with potential new trademarks. Also handles enforcement of intellectual property rights from monitoring and policing of unauthorized use of trademarks through litigation and filing Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy complaints with the World International Property Organization (“WIPO”) to cancel infringing domain names. Represented clients in federal and state courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, WIPO and in arbitration proceedings. Involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through trial and appeal.
