Ms. Haq serves as an Expert at the U.S. Department of Labor handling complex cases involving systemic employment discrimination. She is passionate about worker rights, pay equity, fair employment practices and has substantial experience in federal compliance work. Prior to Ms. Haq’s federal service, she was a law clerk at the California Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Public Defender. She also serves as Pro Bono Counsel for the Alliance for Children’s Rights and represents families through the adoption finalization process. In her spare time, Ms. Haq enjoys hiking with her English Labrador Retriever, learning calligraphy and spending time with her family.
