Vishakha Nagraj

Vishakha Nagraj graduated from the University of California Los Angeles, School of Law in 2024 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Media, Entertainment, Technology & Sports Law. She is incredibly passionate about the business of entertainment and believes that storytelling helps bring people together. Driven by her love for entertainment and the arts, she aims to build her skills as a lawyer to help further the production of creative work.

While at UCLA, Vishakha was a student clinician at the UCLA Documentary Film Legal Clinic where she gained experience in guiding documentary filmmakers through various stages of the film production and clearance process. She also interned at W.W. Norton, an independent book publishing company, where she gained exposure to the book publication process.

Prior to the program at UCLA, Vishakha was a practicing IP attorney in India where she dealt with complex intellectual property disputes of large-scale brands and commercial contracts. She graduated with First Class Honors from Jindal Global Law School, India in 2021 where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and focused on Intellectual property law.

Vishakha is currently residing in Los Angeles and is actively pursuing professional opportunities in the field of Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law. She enjoys spending her free time by the beach, watching live performances and films, and trying out new recipes from different cuisines.
